CAR PARK
Competitors may use the main car park at Pollok Golf Club. An overflow facility may be available at Cowglen Golf Club located adjacent to the venue. Competitors are requested where possible to car share to ease congestion at the club. The Scottish Golf Union and Pollok Golf Club cannot accept responsibility for any theft or damage to cars and property.

CATERING
Breakfast will be available from 6.30am. A breakfast and lunch buffet will be available from approximately 7.30. Evening meals will also be available. It is requested that any players or their guests wishing dinner in the clubhouse pre book in advance, directly with the club.

All catering will be at competitors own expense.

CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse will be open at 6.30am on each day of the Championship. Competitors, their families and guests are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities.

Casual wear is acceptable but must be smart. Shorts are permitted if tailored. THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED.

Changing facilities and showers are available in the Gents Locker Room, towels will be provided by the club.

A bag storage area is located within the club house and will be administered by the caddie master.

THE USE OF MOBILE PHONES ANYWHERE IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ON COURSE IS POHIBITED.

TROLLEYS
A limited number of trolleys are available for hire from the club on a first come first served basis.

COURSE AND PLAY
Competitors will play one round on Wednesday 30 June and one round on Thursday 1 July. The top 40 qualifiers and those tying on 40 place will play one final round on Friday 2 July. The draw for Friday will be made as soon as possible after close of play on Thursday.

Competitors must check in at the Championship Office at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times are shown in the official draw sheet.

Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions, pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.
COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision is made under Rule 6-3.

INSURANCE
Your entry fee includes cover in respect of legal liability in the event of them causing injury to another person or damage to a third party property. An excess of £15 will apply.

PRACTICE ROUNDS & FACILITIES
Pollok GC has kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round on Tuesday 29 June. All bookings for practice times must be made in advance by telephoning Pollok GC on (0141) 6324351.

Practice times will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Any competitors who are unable to make the official practice day or who wish to book an additional practice round will be charged.

The club has a driving range adjacent to the 18th hole; however, this area is restricted to approximately 4 players. The use of drivers is not permitted. There is also a short game area located within the course. Competitors must provide their own balls for these facilities.

GENERAL PRACTICE CONDITIONS
Competitors must report to the clubhouse prior to starting their round. Other than in accordance with the Rules of Golf, a competitor in a practice round must not have more than one ball in play.

PRESENTATION
The Championship trophy and medals will be presented at the close of play on Friday 2 July. All medal winners are expected to be present.

RESPONSIBILITY
Pollok Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for loss theft or damage to player’s property or belongings.

Travelling from the North and East; enter Glasgow on the M8 and head southbound across the Kingston Bridge. Turn onto the M77 (M8 junction 22), before leaving the M77 at junction 2. Turn left onto Barrhead Road. Pollok Golf Club is situated on the left after 0.5 miles.

Travelling from the South & Ayrshire; travel North on the M77 exiting at junction 2. Continuing over the roundabout bypassing the Silverburn shopping complex. On reaching the traffic lights turn right onto Barrhead Road. Pollok Golf Club is situated on the left after 0.5 miles.
